In this video we take a look at the new Handrail Dimensioning Tool available in Tekla Structures. It automates the necessary dimensions for sloping handrail and includes fabrication dimensions and work point dimensions.

Tekla Structures extension to handle better curved rebar groups.

The Form Face Creator tool enhances Tekla’s material quantity take-off [QTO] solution for contractors ( http://www.tekla.com/solutions/concre...) who seek unrivalled insight and control to reduce risk when procuring and deploying formwork. Contractors who plan concrete pours can easily create accurate Tekla models and more rapidly generate accurate QTO for concrete, rebar, embeds and now formwork. Enabling quick, correct formwork area calculations, this unique Tekla tool automates tedious, traditionally manual tasks and helps make estimating formwork much faster, easier and more exact. The Form Face Creator tool analyzes and reports on representational formwork that it applies logically to the correct concrete surfaces.

“The single best investment we have made in terms of return,” comments Ciaran Donnelly ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmFCr...), owner and Managing Director of Cidon Construction, a UK-based, customer-focused reinforced concrete contractor who plans and pours their own concrete on site. The company recently adopted Tekla wanting to win more work with improved QTO.
